SPIN UX is a spin-out of STAR UP, Inc. of Kyoto, Japan. STAR UP built ARCHAIVE to bring together the drawing data scattered across manufacturing organizations and put it to work with AI, and has proven it with many Japanese manufacturers.

    Rick graduated from the University of Toronto, where he researched quantum computing and co-authored three papers in the Journal of Chemical Theory and Computation (JCTC). His experience spans quantum computing, AI and software engineering. He co-founded CouBon, a mobile app with 5,000+ users in downtown Toronto, as its CTO, then joined STAR UP, Inc., where he built ARCHAIVE as CTO. For 2+ years he has worked with Japanese manufacturers to make their operations run more smoothly.
